About

At Mulla Cakes, you'll find beautifully crafted treats nothing short of 'delightful' (my mums favourite word to describe the Biscoff cupcakes). These are those moreish cakes. You know those ones that make you come back for seconds, thirds and maybe even a cheeky fourth when nobody is looking...even when you're supposed to be following your meal plan? Yeah, well these are those!

Mind you, I don't like to toot my own horn too much, it's my customers who do the talking. I'm just here to whisk up the goodness!

Check out some honest reviews here.

How Mulla Cakes came to be

From a young child, I had always enjoyed being in the kitchen with my mum, be it cheese scones, fairy cakes or apple crumble on a Sunday afternoon. I also enjoyed spending school holidays learning from my nanny, observing as she worked on christening fruit cakes or Christmas sorrel. Sometimes I helped her organise the food colouring shelf and even trial modelling sugar paste roses and figures.

When I reached secondary school, I started baking my friends (dodgy looking) birthday cakes - it became a nice way to gift them. Fast forward to my late teens, my now husband questioned me on why this cake business was still just an 'idea'. I didn't really have much of a reason to be honest. And so the journey begun! I chose the name Mulla as this was my nickname during my school years.

Through a serious amount of trial and error, hundreds youtube tutorials and painfully late nights, God allowed me to progressed over the years and build this business into what it is today, offering some pretty delicious artwork.

I am so thankful for so many supportive customers, family and friends. Want to see what the hype is about?
