Booking terms and conditions

Thank you for booking with Mulla Cakes!

Please read through the terms and conditions below.
By making a payment, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Payment

Please reference the payment with your name and the date your order is required.

The date you order for is the date your purchase will be ready for collection, not the day before or after.

Your order will only be confirmed upon receipt of a 50% non-refundable retainer (full non-refundable payments are required for orders £40 and under).

Please notify Mulla Cakes by email once the payment has been made so your payment can be confirmed.

Please aim to make the deposit within 3 hours of receiving this link.

​

In the unlikely event that someone else confirms this space before you in this time, Mulla Cakes will unfortunately refund your payment and cancel your booking.

​

The remaining balance (for orders over £40) must be paid on the day at collection by cash or bank transfer.

​

Collection location

Brentwood CM14 (full address will be sent upon confirmation of booking)

Less than 1 minute from Brentwood Station.

​

Collection windows

Collection windows are strictly as follows:

Fridays: 11-11.30 am or 6-6.30pm

Saturdays: 11-11.30am

 Unless otherwise expressed.

If you cannot make these, please inform Mulla Cakes before making your payment.

​

Late fee

A non-negotiable late fee of £20 is added to all late collections, this must be paid before leaving with your purchase.

​

Refunds

Whilst there is a no refunds policy, you may reschedule/request a credit note up to 48 hours before your day of collection.

You will be provided with a digital credit note with an expiry date 12 months from date of issue.

The cost of any custom items will be deducted from this amount.

​

Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in forfeiting the retainer (or full payment for items under £40).

You will need to rebook for a new order.

​

Dietary requirements

 'Present allergens found in our products:

Cereals containing Gluten, Eggs, Lupin, Milk, Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame, Soya, Sulphur Dioxide & Ethanol.

Unfortunately we do not offer allergen free products.

Collections

It is strongly advised that you collect in a car. You are welcome to send a cab on your behalf if you cannot collect yourself, this is your full responsibility.

(Although reliable, Addison Lee/Black Cabs are not recommended due to most of these types of cabs not having a snug area to place the cake)

 

Transportation

It is strongly advised that your purchase is stored flat in the front passenger footwell of the vehicle or in the boot (wedged). It is important that the heating is not turned on during colder months and that AC is on during warmer months.

 

Storage

Before collecting, it is recommended that you clear approx 2-3 shelves in your fridge to store your cake so you can place your purchase in the fridge as soon as possible.

It is advised to remove the cake 30-60 minutes before consumption.

 

Liability

Every celebration cake purchase is provided with a care card for you to read at collection.

Mulla Cakes will not be held liable for any damages to your purchase.

Once it has left the Mulla Cakes premises, it is no longer Mulla Cake's responsibility.

Cake preservation

Cup up and wrap any left over cake in cling film and place in air tight container. Store this in the fridge for up to 3 days or up to 3 months in the freezer.
